“I was diagnosed with COPD and long-term psoriasis. I attended Salt Space originally for the COPD, found the whole experience very soothing and restful and got great relief from congestion and breathing difficulties. It was only after a couple of weeks that I noticed that the long term psoriasis patches on my elbows had virtually disappeared. What a bonus!
I have been waxing lyrical about it ever since. This has been one of the most rewarding pieces of therapy I have ever experienced.”

“I have known about speleotherapy* for over 20 years and was delighted to find Salt Space! I treated my chronic bronchitis and sinusitis in the underground hospital inside the salt mine in the Ukraine when I was 19, and my 12-year-old brother very successfully treated his asthma there. My son Lucas had a persistent cough and blocked nose, he also had frequent throat and sinus infections since he was a baby. We first brought him in when he had a nose and throat infection – it cleared much faster than usual and he was completely recovered in a few days, whereas previously his recovery time would be much longer.
This winter Lucas has had hardly any colds or infections and we think this is due to us now using Salt Space as a preventive. It has really worked for Lucas as it did for me and my brother!”

“I suffer from Bronchiectasis which means I coughed a lot and was frequently out of breath. I heard about Salt Space from my local Breatheasy group and thought I’d give it a go. My regular visits to Salt Space have really helped me manage my symptoms and given me a lot more zest for life. I’m now enjoying doing things I used to do before, but that I thought I’d never be able to do again – like travelling and playing golf.
In fact, I’m now off on my holidays for a month to play golf and enjoy some sun! In April I had my first attack of Bronchiectasis this year, which is a longer gap than ever before and the attack lasted just 1 week, instead of the usual 3. The number of attacks I get has reduced and the amount of antibiotics I’ve had to take has halved. I’m sure this is due to my visits to Salt Space.
Everyone comments about how well I look and I certainly feel much better now – as the kids say,
I’ve got my mojo back!”
