Our next Salty Breathing Workshop with Sue Bradley is on Wednesday 18 March, 7-9pm. We are offering this at a special price of £22 (£20 Earlybird)
The workshop is an all-level class where beginners are welcome, and the whole workshop takes place seated on chairs, focusing on breathing and relaxation rather than physical poses. Taking place in two salt therapy rooms in Salt Space, where the walls and floor are covered in salt, the first half concentrates on Pranayama [Breathing exercises].
After a break for chai tea we then focus on Yoga Nidra [guided meditation] while micro-particles of pure salt are aerated into the room. As you inhale the salt, your respiratory system will benefit from the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of the salt, freeing up the lungs – and all this while you’re having deep rest!
